Speech-Language Pathologist
Educational Background and Professional Experience: I earned both my Bachelor's Degree in Communicative Disorders and Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from San Diego State University (go Aztecs!). I hold my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and am a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). I am licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board and also have my Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential for school-based services. This is my 17th year as an educational SLP. My background and experience includes language development and disorders, speech sound production, voice, stuttering, and assistive and augmentative communication.
Favorite Things: My 6-, 4-, and 1-year old nephews. My dog, Enzo. My cats, Nash and Scout. The colors turquoise and pink. Reese's. Chips and hot salsa. Horses. New Sharpies (yep, the marker!). Traveling to Australia. Spending the weekends at the beach or on a trail with my dog.
