My name is Priscilla Kaas and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher! This is my 6th year here in Santee and my 17th in education. I moved to San Diego in 2010 and absolutely love it! I live here with my husband and we enjoy traveling around the world together. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education and a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. I am excited to work with you and your child this year as we learn and grow together!
I believe young children learn best when adults are mindful of the "whole child". By doing so, social, emotional, physical, cognitive and sensory needs are nurtured through developmentally appropriate activities. I value each child's individuality and cherish the opportunity to nurture the skills each of my students need to be successful.
I believe each child can reach their potential when given a warm, fun, and caring environment to grow and learn. I believe in instilling a love for learning and mutual respect. "Life is a journey, travel it well!"
